So you may not have known this but outside of false nails, I’m actually an Architect-in-the-making! :) I have studied architecture at university for the past 5 years and it has not been easy butttt recently I got a job, and I’m working towards gaining my official title as a British Architect. I find designing false nails as my true creative outlet as it is something I find very enjoyable. Creating false nails is like painting a picture for me, I like starting with a blank canvas (the nails) and discovering where the colours and materials will take me. I love sharing my designs with other nail enthusiasts so I hope you enjoy them too.
Nail of the day! Soooo dramatic and just totally out of this world! :)
A set of 20 lovingly hand-painted false nails in a unique and original mint polka dot design. These nails are in sizes 0 - 9, and there are two of
Sooooo sorry I haven’t been updating, it’s the usual excuse.. SCHOOL! I decided in September to start a masters degree and now I barely have time for Originailz. Since I’m on my Christmas holiday I have time to post and blog, but I really want you all to know that I love and appreciate all of your support!
I tweet a lot at the moment from my personal twitter account (and not the Originailz one), and if you’re interested it’s : @tumijegede
I tweet about the new city I’ve moved to, about nail varnish a lot (I have to keep it tame for school) and sites, events and other quotes that come to mind.
Please don’t hate me, I love you!
Okay, so I created several new designs, and for some reason my eBay market has suddenly died out on me.
After posting my lovely “Petal Drops" to a lovely buyer in Italy, it seemed as I if I wouldn’t be able to keep up with the orders, even my non-false-nail-wearing friends were asking for custom orders.
But now, nothing..
It’s strange, I’m not used to it..
Other than that, a shoutout by Nicki on YouTube gained me over 20 new subscribers and a couple more members for my Facebook page. I’m thrilled, little things like this really make my day sweeter, and today I was able to choose a username for my fan page - not a big deal to most people, but it’s like a benchmark I set myself. There’s no going back now.
I watched a lovely documentary today called “Daughter from Danang” about a Americanized-vietnamese woman who after 20 or so years was reunited with her birth mother. It was really touching, but the cultural differences got them in the end, it has a sad ending.. If you love documentaries like I do, then definitely check it out: Daughter from Danang.
